Health authorities claim to want to “follow the science” when it comes to their response to the SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID-19, the disease the virus causes. Yet they are unable to review science that points to the virus being no deadlier than the flu for the vast majority of the population nor are they able to review the science that says masks do not work.

The “scientific” response to the virus from health authorities has caused record suicides, job and income losses, increased food insecurity, delayed medical care, problems paying mortgage and bills, and more.

In the following 27-minute podcast, Professor David Harvey, a self-described leftist and Marxist, discusses the problem with solely relying on experts and scientists for solutions to problems with political impacts.

Harvey discusses how the solutions presented by the scientists and experts are “flawed because they do not take into account the totality of the social and economic circumstances of the population affected.”

There is a long history of rule by experts, scientists who are supported by state apparatuses.
